In depth

Verdict

Priors Gold tackles fences for the first time but has been in good form on the all-weather lately and was a fair hurdler for Gordon Elliott. Jackies Solitaire was still in touch when unseating Rachael Green at Doncaster while fellow four-year-old Dark And Dangerous has been placed in both starts over fences and the mate Kykate was second at Warwick earlier this month. Heez A Cracker and Jack The Gent are other with decent claims, along with Shadows Lengthen, but Vosges has been a big disappointment so far. KEALIGOLANE wasn't beaten far at Musselburgh last time and the softer surface here will be to his advantage. Barry Murtagh's grey looks to be improving and can come out on top in a competitive beginners' chase.
