Verdict

ELLE WEST posted a much better effort when fifth in a claimer against higher rated rivals over track and trip a fortnight ago. Further improvement should see her in the mix and she gets a token vote ahead of the more exposed types, Romantic Bliss and Mornin Mr Norris. The latter pair have both been placed on the all-weather of late while Tim Easterby has won this twice in the last three years so Tears And Rain may also get involved. Sheriff Of Nawton separated a couple of poor efforts with a fourth at Wolverhampton and makes his debut on the Turf.
