Verdict

ETON COLLEGE remains 5lb higher than when successful at Ascot in July but drops in class for this having run well for third over 6f at Chelmsford. Mark Johnston’s colt should have the measure of these though maiden winner Red Treble also faces an easier task than at Doncaster last time and can figure. Kuwait Shield is preferred to Optio of the handicap debutants while Little Ted went close at Carlisle earlier when finishing in front of Hooroo.
