In depth

Verdict

Rose Marmara won last year’s renewal by a head but has failed to figure so far this season and is 5lb lower this time round. It was no surprise to see Highland Acclaim place at Epsom last week as he saves his best for that track having won five times there in the past but ZUMURUD (NAP) is preferred at this venue. The latter was beaten only a neck at Nottingham last time and this faster going will suit Rebecca Bastiman’s grey. Dizzy G wasn’t beaten far when fourth at Pontefract last time and Spirit Of Wedza looks high enough in the weights now.
