A few of these have been expensive to follow, so it is with a degree of caution that Breaking Shadow is forwarded over Hadrian, Shivaree and My Princess, who are all expected to be involved in the shake-up. Another that can play a part for each-way player is Brooklime, who has not really enjoyed the rub of the green lately but does possess a fair bit of ability. My Princess almost pulled it off for her supporters over course and distance at the start of this month and will no doubt be a popular selection to atone today. However, she is now 3lb higher for getting beaten a neck and has a little more to prove today. Shivaree has been highly tried and will appreciate this ease in grade. However she dropped out very tamely at Newmarket last time and has something to find on these terms. Hadrian also has it all to do off a mark of 83 and it will be a very good effort from him to follow up his Newmarket win in this company on these terms. Therefore, we turn to Breaking Shadow, who has given his all in the face of some stiff tests of late. The son of Danehill Dancer is open to plenty of improvement at the trip and, Tony Hamilton taking a handy 3lb off his back, Breaking Shadow makes the most appeal on the grounds of value today.
