In depth

Verdict

WISHING AND HOPING was in good form between the flags at the end of last year. He won a novices’ event over course and distance when last racing under Rules and is the pick of the weights in this, even before Alex Edward’s claim is taken into account. Duhallow Tornado is also a winner around here and he’s back with Oliver Pimlott having run in a 4m handicap at Hexham in November for Tim Fitzgerald. Greyed A, Haymount and Kilcrea Vale could all challenge the placings if fully wound up.
