      Verdict

This looks a cut above the normal run-of-the-mill bumpers run at northern tracks at this time of year. Alan Swinbank saddled the 2008 winner and Mutdula was well backed at Musselburgh last month. But he faces a stiff challenge from John Ferguson's Huntingdon scorer High Bridge and west country raiders Be Daring and SHAMBOUGG. Paul Nicholls' charge was second on his debut at Wincanton in April but we prefer Philip Hobbs' ex-pointer, who should enjoy these conditions and was second to a subsequent bumper winner at Rathmorrisey in March.
