MOTAWAAZY hasn’t raced since a seasonal reappearance in April but clearly goes well fresh given he won over course and distance on that occasion. He’s now won four of his previous five outings here and can go close again. Corinthia Knight missed out on a hat-trick when well beaten at Pontefract but Roundhay Park scored at the latter track last month and Pearl Of Qatar has been thereabouts at Ayr recently. Dark Shot was in fine form at this time last year and included a victory in this race off a 7lb higher mark when completing a treble.
