In depth

Verdict

Low-grade stuff but it would be no surprise if a visor transformed Chepstow third Caribeno, though he appears to be crying out for a distance of note. Barney Bullet took a step forward to win at Musselburgh two weeks ago and Quoteline Direct wasn’t beaten far when third at Beverley. BLACK STAR DANCING was given plenty to do when fourth at Hamilton. He’ll need to be ridden closer to the pace around here but cheekpieces should help in that respect. Oliver's Betty placed over track and trip at the start of the month but is hardly progressive.
