In depth

Verdict

MISTER WALL STREET makes plenty of appeal in the opener with Empty Sky and Wave Power worthy of the shortlist. Ferdy Murphy's charge was a useful performer in bumpers but ran his best race to date when chasing home Inventor at Musselburgh. A repeat of that effort should suffice here. Empty Sky has to be respected from the Donald McCain stable. Jason Maguire has elected to side with him despite accruing a penalty for a success at Ludlow. His victory over Novikov has gained plenty of value since. Wave Power looks a chasing type for the future. He had little chance against a Nicky Henderson hotpot at Newcastle though has shown an aptitude for soft going in the past. Keep Gunin has caught the eye in two starts thus far and is still open to progression. Flaming Breeze is a winning pointer over three miles while Lewlaur Supreme is making his British debut for Alan Swinbank and needs to be noted in the market. Avanbos the best of the rest. Mister Wall Street is hardly a banker though he looks the best bet.
