In depth

Verdict

Cape Hideaway has had a run over hurdles since scoring over 1m4f at Doncaster and though this trip is no problem he'd do better with some rain. Italian Riviera usually goes well around here and made an encouraging reappearance at Newcastle so he's on the shortlist as is Allfredandnobell, a dual hurdles winner who almost broke his Flat duck at Wetherby a couple of weeks ago. COSTA PERCY, another who has scored twice over timber, found 1m4f on the short side on his comeback at Wolverhampton and though 2lb higher can go one better. Ice Galley has had 15 starts and never won though was only beaten a length in a big field at Thirsk a fortnight ago.
