Verdict

Mecca's Spirit makes a quick reappearance after a moderate effort from the same mark at Ayr on Monday. Robben Rainbow ran well under a big weight at the same fixture though it's a very long time since he won a race. Deben has a course and distance victory to his credit though that was one of only two successes in 38 starts. Tom's Anna is another track and trip winner though that was over five years ago and he hasn't won since. Rebel State is running very well though is now 7lb higher than his victory at Ayr in May but Extrasolar escapes a penalty for his victory in an apprentices' race at Carlisle on Saturday and looks a threat to all. SIZE MATTERS was returning from a long absence when just failing to hang on over this trip at Wetherby last month. He's just 2lb higher than his victory at Ayr in August and can return to winning ways. Miss Dd finished last on her only start over this trip.
