    Verdict

Poetic Lord is having his first ever start at this level on his debut for Rebecca Menzies, though he'd probably prefer quicker going. FAIR LOCH won a Market Rasen seller in August and a claimer at Huntingdon in November when rated 2lb higher than here. This looks a good opportunity and Megan Carberry's claim is a bonus. Tinseltown has a tremendous record on the Flat around here but hasn't won over hurdles since 2013 while Deny, who won a handicap here last January, is 11lb higher this time. Hey Bob will find this easier than the Class 4 handicaps he's been contesting but Gud Day is too far out of the handicap to consider.
