Verdict

NIVEN has been competing in tougher races than this over fences. A repeat of his third to Katpoli at Wetherby in January should see Philip Kirby’s charge bang there at the finish. Pull Together posted his best effort over fences so far when placed at Fakenham without looking like winning while Las Tunas recorded last year’s three wins on faster going. Novice winner Go Long has slipped back down the weights but Ringaringarosie remains 6lb higher than when last successful.
