Verdict

The four-year-old Bulas Belle is penalised for her victory at Wetherby last month and was earlier 9l behind Irish raider Izzini at Sedgefield. The latter reappeared in a Grade 3 at Down Royal in October but couldn't handle the step-up in class and this is much more like her grade. Bobs Lady Tamure wasn't far behind Bulas Belle at Wetherby and was staying on so the longer trip should enable her to get much closer. Balmusette attempted to make all at Doncaster but had no answer to The Pirate's Queen but Briery Belle showed potential in a Worcester bumper in October and is much more likely to make a hurdler. TAYLOR also showed promise in bumpers and started odds-on for her hurdling debut at Leicester where she found the outsider Queen Of The Stage just too good. That will have done her the world of good and she should get off the mark.
