NGONG HILLS is our pick with Bushido and Divex respected. Ngong Hills is on a hat-trick bid this afternoon having obliged twice at Wetherby. He did make hard work of it on the last occasion but if his jumping holds together, he sets a fair standard. Sue Smith's horses run well at this track so Bushido comes into the reckoning. He can throw in the odd fencing error. Divex is a previous course winner. It is interesting that Mickey Hammond steps him up in trip. Top Cloud makes a seasonal reappearance. He was a promising stayer over hurdles so the trip won't be a problem. Wizards Dust reverts to chasing after disappointing over hurdles. Alto Stratus has not won over fences since taking a moderate event at Cartmel in August. Cool Cossack should have come on for his reappearance. A humdrum event that is potentially there for Ngong Hills' taking.
