        Verdict

        Betty Grable has been well placed to land three Class 6 handicaps under Rhona Pindar though all have been over much shorter, including last week's victory over a mile on this track. Tommy Hallinan had some decent form in Ireland and was bought for jumping but didn't take to hurdles nor to the all-weather. He did much better for new connections at Doncaster last month after wind surgery and may have turned the corner. LINCOLN TALE is back on the same mark as his only victory at Beverley in May. He could do with some rain but stays the trip and Danny Tudhope is back on board so gets the vote. Spark of War is inconsistent and still a maiden but would have a chance on his latest second over today's track and trip.
