This is a really competitive handicap and a chance is taken on Joyce¿s Choice who is given a tentative vote with Loughlorien, Amanda's Lad and Maromito the others put forward for the shortlist. The selection put up a cracking effort when second behind Bettys Pride at Musselburgh last time and although that was only a seller she did have the likes of Soaked and Wendy¿s Girl behind her in that race. She is clearly in good heart at present and from a good draw she should go well. Loughlorien rates the main danger and he has been knocking on the door for some time now. He hails from a yard in good form but he has a bad draw here and for that reason he is passed over. Amanda¿s Lad is in good form and he normally goes well on this track but he has a bad draw and is proven very difficult to win with so the percentage call is to take him on. Maromito ran well from a poor draw over this course and distance last time so he is certainly one to consider, but again he has a high draw to overcome here which will make life difficult. This is a tricky race for punters to call but Joyce¿s Choice has plenty going for her here and is therefore given our vote as the one they all have to beat.
