In depth

Verdict

Spritsail did not offer much encouragement for the future on her debut last week and this half-sister to three winners is surely capable of better, while Spinning Jenni will be more at home over this trip, having been outpaced on her debut. Mesmerist, a half-sister to the high class Mujtahid, is sure to take the beating. The runners from that yard tend to find plenty of improvement from their initial outing and she is taken to score. Miss Kriss Kross may find this trip on the sharp side and looks the sort to do better in handicaps, possibly over further, but southern raider Befriend, an early foal, must be noted in the market speaks in her favour.
