        Verdict

        OVERRULE hasn't won on Turf for some time but this looks a good opportunity. A multiple winner on the all-weather, he comes out best at the weights here and makes more appeal than Tricksofthetrade. The latter scored at Southwell in February but has won a couple of bumpers and should be thereabouts. Herostatus is dropped in class but hasn't shown any worthwhile form since 2010 while Park Lane is having his first run on the Flat for a while though he was winning over fences in March. The remainder look up against it on today's terms.
