Verdict

Done A Runner has found his best-ever form this year at the age of ten and will prove a tough nut if repeating his excellent point-to-point form under Rules. Abbeyview has also been in consistently good form in 2016 too between the flags and warrants respect, especially as he ran well here on his sole start under Rules when third behind Cygnet over further last year. That course knowledge may well prove crucial but DANEHILLS WELL has turned up at Kelso the last twice after winning a point-to-point and shaped well the last day when runner-up to Six A Side in a decent Borders hunters' chase. He'll receive good assistance from the saddle and is taken to go one better. Havana Jack stayed on well enough to claim the minor placing at Perth recently and has each-way claims on that evidence.
