The Hammond gelding has delivered respectable efforts around here the last twice and could have his day in the sun against rivals who arrive with question marks. Earthmoves ran fairly well the last day but still looks high enough in the weights; it's never easy to predict when Easy Street will crop up although he is talented so the solid Jovial Joey could emerge as the main danger with Paddy Brennan a rare booking for the Barnes team. Alderbrook Lad is into the veteran stage but has come back to form from out of the blue the last twice and will contend if maintaining recent improvement.
