MWALESHI looks another lively contender for Donald McCain after rather taking his time to get his act together over timber. An ordinary third at Uttoxeter behind Smalib Monterg was followed by a best effort to date when hunting up Red Riverman at Market Rasen in a novice handicap hurdle which saw the front three pull well clear. A repeat of that effort would probably suffice. The unexposed Germinus will inevitably attract support in view of his connections but he does need to improve on what he's delivered to date and Stag's Leap, a Kelso winner in May, looks a better alternative. He had a nice sharpener on the level six days ago when a fair fourth at Beverley and should get involved at the business end.
