In depth

Verdict

BAY CHERRY has a good record fresh and he can make a winning reappearance. Brian Hughes is riding well and he teams up with this son of Saddlers' Hall, as he did when the horse was second to Leac An Scail at Hexham in April. Palace Merano is an Irish recruit and he was a Punchestown winner when last seen, whilst Jaunty Journey is also considered with the ground in his favour. Nicto De Beauchene is a nice recruit for the yard and is fascinating if ready to roll, Mr Woods has not always convinced at his obstacles, whilst See You There is likely to need the run after his extended absence. Gentle Ranger, Officier De Reserve and Mizen Raven, all making long journeys up north, join Vodka Brook on the list of other interesting contenders.
