MALKO DE BEAUMONT is selected to win this handicap chase; course specialist See You There and Akilak who renews rivalry with the selection look the biggest dangers. Twice a winner at this venue in recent weeks and months, Malko Du Beaumont was given a well-judged ride by Mark Bradburne here last time, being sent on after the last to win a shade cosily in the end. See You There is a stout stayer who rallied well having looked beaten last time. He is a further 8lb higher for that win and might be worth opposing with that in mind. Akilak tackles this trip for the first time and indications are that it will suit him. He is 2lb better off with Malko Du Beaumont for a 1 3/4 length beating. He is a class sort on his day and if he improves for his first effort of the season he ought to finish very close to the selection. Nelson Du Ronceray and Rimsky are others of note in it but Malko Du Beaumont is the pick.
