Totally Scottish is from a yard in good form and he is the TEAMtalk selection. The gelding by Mtoto ran a blinder over this course and distance last time out when second behind Campaign Trail on similar ground, and with Furgus King taking off a handy seven pounds he will be hard to beat. Ontos rates the main danger the gelding formerly trained in Ireland by Ronnie O'Leary is still improving and he was a good winner at Kelso last time out when defeating Eastern Tribute however he has risen in the weights again for that victory and he may just be in the handicappers grip now. Pornic could also go well he won well over course and distance a couple of runs ago and has since run well under his penalty in a better race at Newcastle. The gelding from the Andy Crook yard is still well in on his best form and he to is proven under the conditions. Nemisto was second behind the impressive Mister McGoldrick at Wetherby last time out but he was a fair way clear of the third he to could go well at a big price. Needwood Spirit was behind Pornic on his last run and there is no reason why he should reverse placings even on these revised terms. Denarius is also well weighted on his best form but he has become disappointing and his best form of late has been on much faster ground. The remaining two runners are woefully out of form.
