        Verdict

        Elaine Burke had a decent chance of landing today's feature but her entry here, Ursula, has struggled over this trip in the past and has been regularly beaten in claimers recently. Cut The Cackle is in good form and was second off her new mark at Brighton while Miss Ellany and Emeralds Spirit are both recent winners, though the latter has a penalty to carry for last week's victory at Thirsk. NO POPPY is no stranger to carrying big weights and has the ground in her favour today. She went down with all guns blazing behind Act Your Shoe Size on her latest start at Thirsk and can go one better here. Dubious Escapade disappointed at Leicester earlier this month but still looks the pick of the remainder.
