        Verdict

        A drop into this claiming company for the first time should see HICCUPS return to form and he's taken to do so ahead Hanoverian Baron and Ozone Trustee. As the highest rated here the selection makes immediate appeal and because he scored on his only previous visit to this track that appeal increases. His performance in a Thirsk handicap in his penultimate start shows some ability remains and he should be the one they all have to aim at. Connections of Hanoverian Baron have had to lower their sights a lot with this one and he should go better on these terms amongst these rivals. Ozone Trustee's recent efforts have been poor and trainer Alan Swinbank will be hoping a drop to a trip under a mile for the first time will bring about some much needed improvement. On these terms Red China Blues shouldn't be ignored but in a very poor race Hiccups is taken to win.
