Verdict

The Irish point-to-point circuit has proved a rich source of bumper winners for Donald McCain in recent years and he could have another nice prospect on his hands here in the shape of THE LAST SAMURI. The five-year-old easily won a maiden at Taylorstown in May and looks to have a progressive profile. Five In A Row and Voyage A New York have similar profiles to the selection and have also joined strong NH yards while Marrakech Trader has scope for improvement having only found one too good at Wetherby on his debut. Bobs Lady Tamure had some decent bumper form last season and Dubai Sonnet is a newcomer to note as he's a half-brother to two Flat winners.
