In depth

Verdict

Lord Getaway and Skipthescales bid for hat-tricks though the former is 10lb higher today and the latter is preferred after scoring at Newcastle. Both Lough Derg Farmer and Donna's Delight face stiffer tasks having placed on their latest outings while headgear is applied to Red Rising having returned a losing favourite at Wetherby when a long way behind the winner. Petiville could go well after a better effort last time but TRADITIONAL DANCER (NAP) makes most appeal. The latter has raced over hurdles and on the Flat since finishing runner-up on his chasing debut to Molly The Dolly at Aintree in a race that couldn’t have worked out any better. The winner and all five horses behind have subsequently won and Iain Jardine’s charge gets the vote on the strength of that form.
