Verdict

MIXBOY looked progressive when landing a Sedgefield handicap in very testing conditions and was conceding 17lb to Card Game when well beaten on a return visit last month on much quicker going. He looks the one to be on here. Sean Ban, who was placed in point-to-points, has looked more of a staying type in his races over timber and though Veinard showed his first sign of ability when a close second at Wetherby he was beaten a long way when runner-up to Pistol here last time when Age Of Glory was well behind. Circus Star looks the main threat as he is well up to this class though he's proved himself better on less testing ground.
