        Verdict

        Ordinal was joined on the line at Lingfield last month and dead-heated for first. There may be more to come over this extra furlong but he’s 6lb higher in the weights and FIDRA BAY is preferred. She has gone close off today’s mark the last twice so it may prove third-time-lucky for Alan Swinbank’s filly. She's Electric won at Ayr in October and is only 1lb higher on her reappearance while Frap was not beaten far in fourth last time, though drops back in trip for this.
