      Verdict

TARTAN TIGER has a very long absence to overcome but that's rarely a problem for one of John Quinn's and he looked a progressive type when last seen in 2012 so he can start making up for lost time. Howizee makes a quick reappearance after falling when holding every chance at Ayr last week so if the selection needs the run he could be the one to beat. Alderley Rover has struggled at the weights since scoring at Bangor and Devotion To Duty ran poorly when last seen in November. Mr Utah has been raised 1lb despite finishing third here last time and may be a few pounds high.
