Verdict

SCIMON TEMPLAR has won one of his three starts over fences and has found his form over timber, scoring twice at Ayr recently. He reverts to chasing off a lower mark and can complete a hat-trick. Irish raider Colms Dream has also been racing over timber though he was sent to Leicester for a similar race to this over the bigger obstacles and only just failed to land the spoils. Whiskey Chaser unseated his rider when holding every chance in that latter event then came here to land a handicap though the assessor has had his say with a massive 12lb rise. Top Cat Dj would have an outstanding chance on his run behind Up And Go at Newcastle in January though that appears to have been a fluke.
