In depth

Verdict

Mark Johnston has his team in excellent order at present and recent Beverley maiden winner Almost Twilight is the TEAMtalk selection to make a winning handicap debut. The son of Silver Hawk is open to further improvement and handles ease in the ground so should be hard to beat despite top weight. Cool Bathwick is inconsistent but is fairly treated if back to his best while Russian Dune is not certain to get this trip but Calatagan is at the right end of the handicap and has place claims on recent evidence.
