      Verdict

      Scooter Boy again made mistakes when second to Karisma King at Market Rasen having failed to complete in his two previous starts. HALCYON DAYS is a far more reliable conveyance and also as tough as old boots. He was winning for the fifth time in his last eight starts at Newcastle last month yet the handicapper has only raised him a further 2lb. Spiculas is making his chasing debut but is likely to have had plenty of schooling and makes more appeal than the disappointing Thyne For Gold. Ryalex, who fell at the first here last time, also has some improving to do.
