In depth

Verdict

It will be interesting to see how the market shapes up for this contest with so many of the runners making their first racecourse appearance including the Nicky Richards-trained Weather Front and Don McCain's Sisterhood but the one with the best form so far of the few to have raced is Impact Zone and he gets the vote. The selection ran a promising race on his debut at Kelso and Tim Easterby's gelding looks the one they all have to beat on that evidence. Isaac Newton, the other one to have raced previously, ran with some promise at Kelso but needs to improve to beat the selection. The Panama Kid and Heart O' The West are others worthy of a mention but it is Impact Zone who gets the vote.
