      Verdict

      HIGHLAND DUKE went close to scoring at Windsor on his return to action. Only 2lb higher today and dropped in class, Clive Cox' four-year-old can go one better in this. Silver Alliance won in a similar company at Yarmouth three weeks ago and should be thereabouts again but dual Wolverhampton winner Final Delivery was a big disappointment back on the Turf last time and would prefer some cut in the ground. Nave is not badly treated on his best form and could go well on his first start since January.
