A seller with more questions than answers but Bel Cantor, Kangaruz, Hasty Passion and Half Pint Bill can all be given a shout with the tentative vote going to Bel Cantor. Although fully exposed in top two year old company at Ripon last time out Bel Cantor had shown himself in good form in maiden company prior to that. He has shown he has the ability in that grade so in this selling company he should be one step ahead of his rivals. Kangaruz had run well to finish second in a couple of poor maidens before disappointing last time out. This is a drop in grade and is therefore worth noting in the betting market. The same can be said for stable companions Hasty Passion and Half Pint Bill as both have shown enough form and their trainer Bill Turner does very well in these types of races. But for the winner we return to Bel Cantor.
