Verdict

Swiss Cross gained his latest win in the Channel Islands and may prove vulnerable off top weight, although the claim of Finley Marsh will aid his cause. Noble Deed and Baby Gal need to improve on recent efforts but Jersey Breeze could prove dangerous in a first-time visor and dropping in grade. Pushkin Museum's consistency seems sure to see him thereabouts and he's equally at home over 5f or 6f but GOLD CLUB receives the vote. Tom Clover has enjoyed a couple of winners in his rookie season training and his Multiplex gelding has performed with credit on all four starts this term and will appreciate the drop in grade after a satisfactory effort last time at Goodwood, for which he's been dropped 3lb.
