In depth

Verdict

A winner at Lingfield in August, Sing Out Loud was unlucky not to defy a penalty here last week. His saddle slipped when attempting to navigate a clear passage and he missed out by only a neck. But ROTHERHITHE has gone close in both starts to date including Kempton last time and the latter is fancied to make the most of today’s weight concession and come out best. Mr Gent returned a losing favourite in heavy going recently but should go well on this faster surface and looks best of the rest.
