Verdict

Steig is selected ahead of China Cherub and All You Need. Carl Llewellyn's charge is far from the easiest of rides but credit must go to James Doyle for a canny ride last time out. The trip has to be of concern but he has shown a degree of purpose from the front in the past and any rain would help. China Cherub is tried in cheekpieces for the first time. She is capable of landing this but doesn't win often enough for our liking. All You Need has plunged down the weights. He just about gets this trip! Ten To The Dozen is respected as a course-and-distance winner. Magroom's latest effort was simply too bad to be true. Desert Clover is tried in first time blinkers. Steig is expected to shine again.
