Verdict

He's A Diamond is given the nomination here with Treat Me Wild and Wasalat put forward as the principle dangers. The selection made a promising debut at Salisbury before winning well on this track last time when beating Campeon. That form has been let down a little since but our selection looks to be going the right way and he should be good enough to take this. Treat Me Wild won well on her debut at Bath before disappointing at Warwick over 7 furlongs last time. She was doing her best work at the finish on that day and gave the impression that she would need a mile to be seen at her best, so she is passed over on this occasion. Wasalat ran well on her first two starts but she failed to build on that at Ripon last time. She clearly has ability but will need to improve to get her head in front here. Of the remainder, Nordhock won well last time and looks to have decent place prospects, but He's A Diamond sets a fair standard and looks the one they all have to beat.
