In depth

Verdict

Trainer Mark Johnson is 3/3 with his juveniles here this season and his LAKE VOLTA who ran a decent race when making his debut at Goodwood last week is taken to get off the mark at the second time of asking in this opening contest. The selection finished mid-division on that occasion and can get the better of Pranceabootthetoon who was a winner here on debut and ran well on his only subsequent start. Indian Warrior , beaten favourite the last twice can claim third on his first start since June.
