Verdict

The Special One has only been beaten once in her last four starts. Two of her victories came over 7f here but she’s never been successful over this longer trip and has been found wanting off this sort of mark in the past. BUSKIN RIVER looks a better bet even though he only scrambled home over course and distance a month ago. James Eustace’s gelding doesn’t have many miles on the clock and is suited by today’s conditions. With Approval and Buzz Lightyere both won their penultimate starts while Duke Of North won over track and trip the last time he raced in this grade and he’s only a pound higher.
