    Verdict

This looks a virtual match between Ambrosine and Scalloway with preference for the former, who is progressing along the right lines. Amanda Perrett's three-year-old won well at Windsor last time and, with the form having been franked since, she has every chance of following up. Scalloway probably did not beat a great deal when winning at Bath last time but has to be respected, as that was his first outing of the season. Gabor has shown very little of late, while Saphila needs to improve on what she has shown so far to take a hand. With Pipssalio out of his depth there does not seem to be much in the way of opposition to Ambrosine, who has solid claims.
