Martin Dwyer has ridden course runner-up Fast Gold and Port Gaverne in all their starts to date and sticks with the latter here after making the frame at Bath. The Tregoning pair make more appeal than both Deer Song and Tim The Taxi. Fireglow is related to a couple of winners and could be thereabouts but fellow newcomer COMEDY NIGHT is preferred. Rob Cowell does not have a great record here but his colt is a half-brother to five winners, including Group 3 winning sprinter Elnawin, and may well be good enough in this.
