Verdict

Madam Caversfield, Bongoali, and Flaunting It look the three to concentrate on in another tough race to call for punters and the tentative vote goes to Madam Caversfield. The selection was a fair fourth behind Silver Wraith last time out. That form looks rack solid in the context of this race and with conditions in her favour she will be hard to beat. Bongoali rates the main danger on her latest fourth behind Hidden Chance but she was doing all her best work at the finish on that occasion so the drop back in trip is not sure to suit. Flaunting It is another worthy of respect but she was behind Bongoali on her last run and will need to improve on that to defeat the selection. Of the remainder Chutney Mary and Blackcomb Mountain have place claims on their best form but have had plenty of chances without taking one and for the winner we return to Madam Caversfield.
