Four Miracles deserves to get her head in front having been placed four times in her six races but the Mark Tompkins-trained filly may have to settle for a minor role again, with preference for Ashmal who gets the vote ahead of Calculating. The last mentioned ran better at Windsor last time when not beaten far in the race won by Ballet Boy but he may do better over further. Luca Cumani's Dabawiyah showed only a modicum of ability on her Newbury debut last month but should have learned a good deal from that effort and makes more appeal than Roxie Princess, who is not certain to stay this far. Richard Hannon's Bajan Pride has shown promise, including on a soft surface, and has to be considered but the vote goes to Ashmal. John Dunlop's filly has form over trip and ground and a reproduction of the pick of her form may well suffice.
