    Verdict

Spyglass has an obvious chance following a debut full of promise and is hard to oppose in a race where dangers look to be thin on the ground, with Grantley Adams and Caan probably the pick of them. The selection stayed on strongly to be beaten just three-quarters of a length behind the useful Gillipops at Leicester on his debut last month and a reproduction of that effort should more than suffice. Sky At Night represents a stable that has been doing well with their juveniles this term and has to be respected first time out, if the market speaks in his favour. The other newcomer Crush On You makes limited appeal coming from the stable of Andrew Balding that rarely has a two-year-old winner first time out. Zafantage showed signs of promise last time but needs to improve significantly and of more interest may be Grantley Adams, who now steps up in trip having shown promise over six furlongs. Caan represents the in-form yard of Richard Hannon and is another that warrants respect but Spyglass has an obvious chance and gets the vote.
